• Goals:
  • Beat Hell Baal
  • Obtain Rift runeword
  • Become Conviction-din that wields a mean Rift (I am going to be fanta/zeal/smite until I can get my hands on a Rift. Will be late in the game unfortunately
  • Since I am getting the Rift so late, I hope to beat Ubers as to extend the play with the Rift runeword (otherwise it will probably be only act3-5 which I get to use it
  • Obtain a CTA

The screenshots will start mostly in NM. When I sat down to play I was only screwing around because thanksgiving vacation from work. As always, this old game sucked me in

I died on my last Pally before Hell. He was supposed to be a Rift/Conviction din- so thats what I will try to accomplish once more.



Some gear and stat updates. As per usual, no good melee weapon
I respec'd from holy shock/concentration zeal/smite combo in norm to all Fanta/HS/Zeal/Smite

I was waiting for a really good option to make a Strength in all through Norm. Nothing good dropped. Sadly this will have to do for now.



Was trying mf boots/gloves/rings ~60% between the three
Have a topaz armor as well.



Griswold. Quickly stopped using Zeal and started Smiting lol. I am almost smiting everything now just trying to keep merc up to do the killing.

Sell almost any armor for that easy 35k or whatever it is. Merc going down every few minutes and repairing eats all the gold

I draw the crowd back through a bottle neck and take them down one at a time.

He didnt really hurt. Just took a few minutes of smiting and mana potting to get him down

Cant use my bottle neck strategy in here. Everything can either fly through walls or has a ranged attack!

Not the best map. Not the worst. Level 3 is a straight shot up across most of the map. Its a long run but there is only one champion pack in the way I think.

Not excited for the drops so much as I am getting a new merc.
Pretty sure I am going to go Might > Holy Freeze. Will do some testing swapping mercs around.
