don't know how common they were in LLD games but you didn't mention bugged etlich

I had a brief adventure on east in 09 that lasted a few weeks. I took a lvl 8 druid full of charsi shit into a pub, popped some noob and grabbed his 6s windforce and 4s valor. I traded those for a bunch of stuff and ended up making an etlich barb to screw around in pubs lol

west had white rings and str gloves, and zons could use hex scs at lvl 42

yeah bugged eye of etlich gave you like 8 million life with bo or something, because it gave negative vitality.. I don't know lol something like that. But it wasn't as much of a problem as Havocs because people just made bugged eoe barbs as a joke to stand there and take damage basically lol, at least on east.

I think west had the better hacked items back then really, didn't know too much about that stuff at the time tho

east had more balanced pvp, you could at least make competitive chars with every class, west was 75% zons, 24% barbs and 1% fof sins. All builds were identical except for zon where you had to choose 100 dr or cbf on bow lol

little confused by the end of that statement. wasnt dr capped at 75% in 1.09?

all the zons on east used the normal unique crossbow with piercing attack lol. Pierce/KB/Life leech was an intense combo

yeah, but with 100 dr you can't be amped haha

in 09 zvz amp = dead

from what i remember this is the order of events that led ppl to stop playing

ppl spent more time on forum than in game. mewtwo was only one in game usually but he was always afk (went from active games to everyone afking to trade on here + ppl with high fg were guaranteed "skill" by purchasing n1 items) -> d-two-pk (free access to same items so erryone was playing on equal grounds) -> league of legends (money =/= skill; became most popular online game for all audiences)

good memories. i should've typed up some guides before i lost my d2 game knowledge lol
