The writer for all the other uncharted's left ND. Rumor was she was fired. The people that were in charge if TLOU are taking over.

Writer/actor Todd Stashwick, the voice of the Uncharted PS4 teaser trailer, is no longer involved in Naughty Dog’s Uncharted project.

“They chose to recast my role,” Stashwick told IGN.

this game may never come out any time soon

I think it's fine. Niel probably wasn't happy with the direction Amy was talking it so he took over the project, which is probably why you are seeing these kind if changes. After TLOU Niel has my faith.
