Do you think that you could bust up an MP10 PK WP trap in act4?


I doubt one could ever be put together without the makers dying horribly (teehee) but I was curious as to what you think the upper limit of a nearly-flawlessly geared char would be?

So, any other monks able to farm MP10 *solo*? I can play the support monk just fine, but with ROS getting nearer I'd like to give that a shot

I'm ok in MP8, but do not have enough DPS for 9/10. Have been googling hardcore MP10 solo monks but I can find very little :/ I've only seen 2 MP10 solo monks so far, being Silvonte (EU) & Kornkills (US), both with Skorn setup.
I'm running DW 2x life steal, so would be nice to see some similar builds that can run MP10.

With that gear you will be able to do mp10 but not in the time he does it as he has superior gear.

Try Mantra of evasion + Backlash works great with your weapons + change Beacon of Ytar with The Guardian's Path. You will be amazed how good it works in solo, even better than convinction aura, depending on the monster density. Be careful Thunderclap might get you killed on mp10.

This is why when you start hardcore you shouldn't buy Hardcore Gold, learn to adapt and you wont need others telling you what build you should use or what gear. That is a great part of the fun in Diablo 3.

Thrash is not a problem, elite packs are. I figure MoC > backlash when it comes to downing elite packs? Some types can hit reasonably hard melee but the only real threat comes from AOE effects like posion, arcane, molten and backlash doesn't do much good in those situations I think. I did run it back in MP2 to make my monk DC-proof, but on high MP's DC means death anyway

I like blind with Ytar for regular spikes in DPS and it offers some crowd control also (+reduced serenity cool down). I'm also looking at Combination Strike with dual generators (probably with Foresight). Skills I will not take off my skill bar: DS, SW, FoT, Serenity, mantra. Basically 1 slot left for either blind or another generator. I find bells don't hit hard enough with my build, I kill faster with Awe spam/Blind/TC.
