This should be fun!

Why here?

1. I love Diablo games.
2. Currently play D2 a lot.
3. This site is mostly about trading.
4. I love the forum software. Its simple, fast, and easy to read and navigate.

I will run my stock market system. I will be buying stocks and holding them for days to weeks to months, depending on how things go. Trades are unlikely to be in real-time, as I work during market hours. It doesn't matter really since I don't plan on day trading. Let's see how high I can build my wealth!

Trade #1: Bot 19 shares TNA @ $60.70 on 9/16/13 for $1153.

Sorry I am a bit late in posting my results on this trade. My trades can be few and far between to the point where I simply forget!

Trade #1: Bot 19 shares TNA @ $60.70 on 9/16/13 for $1153.
Trade #2: Sold 19 shares TNA @ $64.81 on 10/17/13 for $1224. (gain of +6.2%)
Trade #3: Bot 57 shares TZA @ $20.99 on 10/17/13 for $1196.

TNA has rallied higher since my sell price. TZA has dropped since my buy price. I left some profits on the table but I'll take 6.2%.

I had to switch trains because the gold market looks ready to enter a major correction.

Trade #7: Sold 47 shares DUST @ $50.55 on 12/19/13 for $2375. (gain of 55%)

I sold because the correction has run deep and its gotten to a point where I've lost my "feel" for what will happen next with gold. So, I got out.

I didn't get the drop I expected. Market is just flat now. A big move should be soon, but could be up or down. Current plan is to wait on the sideline until either

1. the move arrives (then ride it).
2. another opportunity elsewhere arrives.

Also planning on depositing more funds on Tuesday 1/21/2014. (markets are closed monday for MLK day)

Update:

Trade #10: bot 68 shares DUST @ $32.91 for $2237. on 1/21/14.

This was frustrating as I had a sell on gold for monday. Gold was actively trading on monday but the markets were closed for MLK day. I shorted gold immediately as the markets came up, but gold had already dropped $17 by the time the makret opened so I wound up buying DUST at a higher price than I had planned and that was the low of the day. We should be facing a drop in the gold market in the days / weeks ahead so I should be fine. That holiday was awful timing though.

Also, deposited another $750 into my account which will clear today or tomorrow.

Update:

Trade #11: bot 29 shares DUST @ $29.56 for $769 on 1/23/14.

A total of 94 shares of DUST now. I have invested $3006. My average price fell to $31.98 with this buy.

I deposited by $750 and decided to use it to lower my average price in this trade. I still believe DUST is a short-term sell. My stop has not been triggered. The only problem is that the longer it takes for this drop to materialize, the more I'm likely to cut bait with a smaller profit. There is a window of time for this trade to work and if it doesn't, I just get out.

Trade #12: sold 94 shares DUST @ $32.14 for $3014. (gain of $8 - basically flat)

The trade had been going nowhere and time ran out. Will wait for a new opportunity somewhere.
