Have you seen what he's getting suspended for? That alone is ridiculous, imo. 1-2 games at the most.

I'm not being a homer here, I dont even really like Kassian... I just think this suspension is beyond stupid.

do you think suspending based on injury or maliciousness makes sense?

players should be in control of their stick at all times ... there in the nhl ffs
sure the intent to injure wasnt there but that doesnt mean you can flail around your stick and smoke people in the face like nothing happened
and yes i agree the suspension should be based on the injury for something as careless as this there was no need for the stick to go up that high he had like 5 feet of padding he could have hit on him and there would be no suspension

on maliciousness? as in dangerous? yeah, i think. if you swing your stick like a baseball bat you should get a hefty suspension

Hall's was cheaper than Kessel's imo.

I could see Kessel getting the rest of the preseason at most.
He was swinging mostly at Scott's pads to get the fuck away, not taking a deliberate cheapshot like Hall did.

But yeah, I agree. Kessel should get something for his actions but I doubt he will.
