Game did not review well.

lol, looking at this game I was like that looks just like killer7...sure enough made by the same exact people, and that game kind of sucked so I don't have high hopes to ever play this one

And now I feel like playing Catherine

These kinda games never do.. Select core fanbase.. it peaks some interests but the general public never picks it up..
Ashame though cause it looks sweet.. and Catherine was amazing; Fuck you haters

catherine was made by the same team that makes the highly critically acclaimed shin megami tensei games, it sure as hell did get picked up by a huge audience

No the fact that it was made by the persona developers gave it more spotlight, but sales were faaaaar from satisfying if you are saying you are appealing to a bigger audience.
Same goes for Persona 4 Arena...

what are we comparing this to? those games, all of them including catherine, are revered as some of the best games ever made by a large audience

sales doesn't really mean alot when no traditional style turned base RPG game sells for alot, but when the persona team makes a game. it sells good enough for them to do whatever they want
