Took myself out of contention in the club championship today.

I took a 9 on the first hole.

How you ask?

I put my first 2 tee shots OB.

Then from there I continued to struggle through the front 9. I shot even in the back though.

I'm going to be like 10-13 shots back after this lol, still waiting on the last groups to come in. It was extremely hard to gather myself when I screwed up THAT bad. I gathered myself for the back 9 at least, so I salvaged some confidence going into tomorrow

Haven't carded anything higher than a 7 in.... 2 years-ish

Playing in the 5th last group now, tee at 1 ET. Overcast and showers so far today, I won't ever be nervous again off the first tee because I know it can't get any worse than yesterday lmao, not that I was nervous yesterday.

Didn't play much better on Sunday, didn't blow up any holes worse than a bogey, but just wasn't as sharp.

Was fun regardless.
