LA is #23 in Goals For and #4 in Goals Against... the Bishop trade is whatever they were getting strong goaltending even without Quick, they are having issues scoring. Iginla helps a bit but it wont be that drastic.

They got bishop so that they could put a #1 goalie in net every night and hopefully make the playoffs.
With heavy March schedule, a recovering quick can't play every game.

Pens have two trades that still need to be announced.

Fehr to Leafs, probably a cap-dump.

Second deal might include the player Pens want that they need to make space for.
