Just sitting here bored and thinking... I'm going to be living in Jinhae for 3-4 years. I just got divorced after 5 years of marriage and 2 kids. Needless to say I am not in the 'single dating' mindset. I don't really like to go out clubbing or party too much and I don't like girls who do the same. I have read that the 25+ age crowd for Korean ladies tend to want to marry more easily or date people with the intention of settling (i.e. my kind of woman). But if I don't go out clubbing and shit, then I mean... what are other acceptable means and places to meet people? And not just for sex or dating.. I guess it sounds stupid though. People are generally the same everywhere and really meeting someone tends to be random. I was just wondering if there are marked differences on this kind of activity over there.

AND is there a good forum to troll where locals actually hang out/frequent? It would be cool to have a friend there before I get there. I mean... not necessarily a female but just someone to share interests with and show me the place. I don't want to hang out with a bunch of Navy people while I'm there. I'm coming there to get away from Navy people.

For a while I wanted to get into Kendo but since not going to Japan that is kind of not going to happen. I researched some and I think I would like to get into Korean Kum-Do which is basically similar right? I read that they compete against each other as well. I think that's a good avenue to meet people too but I must find a place or a friend to assist me to get into it since my Korean will suck when I first show up.

I do some light gaming but nothing serious (anymore). I used to do a lot but I calmed down. I play SC2 a little, EZ.

They'll only marry you and settle in IF you have the right specs aka solid career, a fuck ton of money, car, house, and no ballz so you can spend all of your money on her.
The gym is one of the best places to meet those type of girls, there are a lot of them going to the gym just to hunt for guys with money
