Been working at GolfSmith for some time now (golfing since I was 5, 22 now) and I fucking love the industry. It's making me rethink what I want to do with my life.

With that said, I saw a few questions about clubs/balls/etc and if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.

It looks like there's some pretty knowledgeable people in here already, but just wanted to toss my name out there too for anyone who had any questions. Maybe can give a perspective/outlook/idea/whatever that someone who doesn't work in it can.

With all of that said, I am not an incredible golfer. I'm not bad by any means, but I'm about a 9 handicap. Can have spurts where I flex up to the low teens but it's pretty consistent now that I can play 2-4 times a week.

Recently shot 2 and 4 under in back to back rounds, was the best 2 rounds of my life. Then I went and switched my irons like a dumbass and now I'm struggling to get them down but I love them still haha.

The Legacy.

Working at GolfSmith I get free golf there so I'm there a lot (don't really play any other course) plus it's the nicest public course in Arizona and like the 3rd rated overall course in AZ and a top 50 in the nation I believe (someone go ahead and check on that, that's just what I've been told lol).

One of their assistant pros is supposedly taking a head pro job somewhere else so they're possibly looking for a replacement (they have 2-3 others already) so they're interviewing like 10-15 guys this week. My interview is tomorrow. Honestly, I don't expect to get it. I'm not PGA certified, didn't go to the golf academy, don't really have any formal training in teaching golf but they liked my personality and my knowledge enough to get the interview so we'll see.

Did not get the job haha. Was a fun process and they said I was like they're third option which was cool but just fell a little short.
