I'd like it, would make it more colorful

If this was introduced I would make a suggestion to stick to bold red italics lol sorry I don't think this is a great idea.

Nah but in all seriousness, I think one of the best things this site has going for it is the clean look. No muss no fuss. Red bold and italic are solid, no need to get wild, you can do that with your profile page or color scheme of the site itself.

italic is something people almost never use we could maybe just switch that out or something

i still think it needs to be added a new color
