just finished watching it

the one i downloaded was amazing quality but the last scene had no fucking subtitles

i have no idea how to feel just now but i'm frustrated

can anyone tell me what he says in his monologue after the credits?

The 15 year old kid was really grown-up i liked that
The ending was fucked up though.. I wish they could've got together.. :/ poor boy.
I mean he loved her so much but she just decided to leave him behind
No wonder grown-ups are useless in my mind

I dont know why but i really loved this movie, i can't stop thinking about it.

the last scene especially where he told her that he's fallin inlove with her.
suddenly she jumps out and goes after him and they both tell each other what they really think.

this movie is a masterpiece for sure, i can't understand what you guys were expecting from this, i mean it's awesome how to make it better?
It should've been longer though :/ really great movie & masterpiece.

i absolutely loved it once the ending was cleared up for me

the one thing i really disliked was the fact that he was 15 years old... like the age difference is fine whatever that doesn't bother me but at 15 years old.. c'mon how can we believe that a 27 year old woman can feel something for a 15 year old kid

i wish shinkai would have at least made him a senior or something maybe 17 years old

didn't you hear it? when she was sitting there alone on sunny days hoping for him to visit she said '' Even if i'm 27 years old, sometimes i feel as if i'm still 15. '' or something like that
Time passes by very fast, japanese people always look young no matter how old they are

It's hard to tell the age difference between japanese people, that's why this movie allowed them to make such a relationship in my opinion.
And i really believed it, i mean the 15 years old boy really loved her, and in mind he was probably older than 30+




I didn't really understand the ending :/

1. did she move to her hometown and continued to be a teacher there?
2. the boy created shoes for her, and is going to visit her soon once he's ready?
3. what would happen in the future if the movie continued?
