I should note, from reports from marches around the country, the actual marches got a whole lot less SJW within the last few months, and a whole lot more anti-Trump- basically they morphed from a SJW march to yet-another-anti-trump march like the tax returns. So the reactions from scientists I knew mellowed out a bit, but it was enough to make people unenthusiastic about the event. It wasnt anywhere near as vehement as the original backlash against the SJW hijacking

not according to my "interpretation" but strictly based on the scenario YOU chose to offer as an alternative - a scenario never even proposed by the most anti fossil fuel politician. and not just that, you even presented a concrete undesireable consequence (unaffordable access to energy) to hammer your message home. there is a pretty big difference between pointing out how ridiculous that was and acting like i was just "perversely interpreting" your rational point. again, you did not explicitly say there was no other possible solution, but it speaks for itself how you chose to (mis)represent the anti trump camp while being completely wishy-washy regarding trump's approach ("SOME PEOPLE taking steps" being ok, science not necessarily "accurate" and therefore shouldn't "dictate" steps, your usual climate change denier and trumpapologist rhetoric when faced with overwhelming evidence).

and yes, you have been backpedaling and ignoring certain points constantly, while engaging in your usual ad hominems, projections, and misrepresentations at the same time.

you're obviously uncomfortable that i exposed your strawmen in my first reply, where i pointed out how your arguments targeted completely fictional scenarios, and i consider this a good sign actually.

well, at least its obvious that they fucked up due to carelessness, and not because they were trying to push any kind of agenda down their customer's throats like pepsi. I dont think too many customers will have any lasting grief over this slip-up.
