i just heard they wont be revealing any new games at e3 and instead at nintendo directs. thus making their e3 "less big"

Definitely. but I'm not surprised. I hate the new Nintendo.
after N64 era they started going to shit. Gamecube was cool, it had some good games like super mario sunshine.

Nintendo direct doesnt receive the same press attention E3 does. It'd be like posting in a local news paper vs posting on google news and expecting the same amount of people to read and appreciate the content.

The general media does not care about the core gamer though. The general media cares about COD, Mario, Halo and a few more. The fact that Nintendo wants to focus on its core audience amuses me. The Wii was so successful because it went away from its core audience and focused on non core gamers. It was and will always be a casual machine. If this fails them the WiiU will never recover and they will have to rely on their handheld market until their next generation
