true. how would you feel about the Lockean acknowledgment of his counter-arguments via the Lockean proviso (that whoever is claiming property is definitely diminishing the rights of other people to that property)? or how would you feel about the counter-arguments a la Hobbes, Stirner or Marx? certainly the Lockean proviso should be understood even today if Lockean arguments are to be claimed, and they're to be understood to be doubly as damning because "terra nullius" wasn't terra nullius, and that the demographics of the world have radically changed.
how would you counter the claim that private property as many understand it is actually a historical phenomenon that is contingent to the current mode of production and the social circumstances instead of a natural right? this is an actual, verifiable fact that you can't just circumvent. that would seem to me as a claim against this "natural rights"-understanding of property in-itself.
