Nothing hardcore about PoE. Period. Also, the game is pure shit.

The interpretation by people make this thread invalid.

I play HC, I die in HC, I delete character and start HC again...
Makes no difference to me... it is still Hardcore if you can not play in runs with other Hardcore players.
Default setting to me sounded ridiculous, then I have also heard that it makes sense that if new people
that do NOT know nothing about the game and tried HC and died, they would have the chance to carry on, but
only in Default.

Another way to look at it... D2... Ladder / Non Ladder ... when ladder resets, all gear / characters remain, but in Non Ladder.
I would have thought that when the season ends, they should be deleted completely with all gear... now that would cause alot
of people to cry.

I think their hardcore makes sense.

Simply because anyone that really plays hardcore strips down their dead character/sells off its shit on SC/ then remakes it on HC.

The penalty of dying on HC isn't really severe enough, but at the same time it is so time consuming just to hit lvl 60+, let alone gear yourself well enough to do maps.

lol you are missing the point entirely

it is not a concept. think you better look up the word before you use it.

its funny how only people who play scrubcore complain about hardcore not being the same as in d2.

just a reminder, if you die in hc you are out of hc. people dont realize how annoying it is to level up a char again, getting all the gear back is also expensive. its not like you can easily sell hc gear in sc, the sc market is flooded with items thanks to all the noobs and multiboxers.

hardcore on poe is scrubcore, which is why people complain about it because it floods the market

real hardcore players complain about it because of all the kids on there that don't know what hardcore really is and sell their shit on softcore.
the whole point of hardcore is that is supposed to be hard, and you are complaining that people don't know how hard it is to level (which it isn't) and to get new gear.

IMHO real hardcore players don't give a shit about what other HC players do with their gear. To go to default is akin to having loot in Diablo 2. If your character did not go to default, how would you reobtain microtransactions?

Could GGG add a party loot and an automatic microtransaction recovery? Sure, why not. I'm not against it. HC at the end of the day is still losing your character and your time.

Something that you can do on Default as well. Real Hardcore would do it auto for you, but PoE only offers Kinda Hardcore.
