Was more impressed by the "swiss watch" Federer in his moments of glory when he was really invincible and made to fall record after record. And without Nadal, the true contender to first place on the ladder, the game becomes easier for Nole.

When Novak, RAfa and Maurray arrived, we realised that Roger isnt that great, just lack of competition.

It will come a time when you'll say the same thing about Djokovic, it's a cycle that can't be avoided, always will appear a better player that will try to raise the standards of the game. I wasn't a fan of Roger, bit it remind me some moments when he was known as winner of a tournament before starting.
I don't see a constant contender that can steal first place from Nole and he has most merits for that.

yeah, has nothing to do with the fact that they're 5 years younger than him and he only really started getting dominated by them when he hit 30

if anything nole has no competition

fed is aging but still consistent as ever going deep in majors
nadal is always hurt
murray has the temper of a 4 year old
ferrer is like the modern day daveydenko, always makes the quarters but never really seems relevant

etc etc

Only guys I can see upsetting the top 3 are Tsonga, Berdych, Roanic imo

Someone who can get lucky and go for broke and smack the hell out of the ball and go for winners and hit them off the court. We've seen it before. the dude who beat Nadal in Wimbledon.
Soderling against Nadal at the French, Berdych against Fed.
