"The system cannot find the path specified"

I've tried redownloading the file, still says the same.
I've tried reinstalling WinRAR, still says the same.
I've tried a 32-bit version instead of 64-bit, still says the same.

Someone help me before I pull my hair out?

I saw this online, not sure if it will work...worth a try though

the system cannot find the path specified

At first I thought it was a password thing, but my friend did not specify any password for the WinRAR archive. So there must be something else. Then I found out that there was a folder in the file that had a long name. Perhaps that was the thing causing the error? I renamed the folder (inside the WinRAR archive) to a simple and short name and voila! Extraction complete.

So if you still get a "the system cannot find the path specified" error, you know what to do!

1.give the path location correctly, some times the path might be ambigous so the system confuses

2. chk if the rar file is passowrd pretected,

To get around this, when you choose a place to extract the film to, ensure the folder is in a place such as your desktop or at the root location of a hard drive, and place it in a folder with a short name such as "HP PoA 2004 1080p" or something.

Delete the content of your temp folders, %systemroot%\temp and %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp

i think the last one solves the problem.

It isn't password protected. The folder name is 4 letters long.

I'll try the temp folder thing and report back.

/e: Uninstalled WinRAR and used the default extraction program on Windows 7, thanks for the help anyway.
