umm for now we have:

- Level 30 maximum
- No jumping (say g or go before each duels)
- Gear Restrictions: can only use up to Flawless Square Gems
- Banned items: The Horadric Hamburger, Spectrum, Hellfire Ring.

As for skill bans, Hex, Serenity, Critical Mass passive and Storm Armor - Reactive Armor rune are all stuff i'd watch closely.

But ya for now we need playtesters.



you're right for the most part but keep in mind they said they wont balance skills based on pvp play. Thats why im kind of scared of a 6-8 hex/fear. i think it will all depend on how long duels will take. if everyone kills each other in 3 seconds then we might have to revisit but from what ive seen on streams / calculations, it looks fine. for now leave it at that but it isnt something we can just ignore/overlook if it becomes problematic.

I can understand limiting the builds for tournies... You have my support with that... thought you meant for generally dueling among the community.

the "no jumping rule" is for tournaments/gm 1v1s, yes, but everything else applies to public games. im sure you dont want hamburger llds running around dont you?

Im not on my d3 comp till possibly sunday, but quick Q. Are the legacy frosties lvl 30req or below? Thinking of perhaps a pair with 10 max disc to check out.

Also I like the current rule about the gems. This will allow flexibility and strike a nice starting balance.

highest is at +4 discipline. and pretty expensive too

ive been following and gearing for a while as you know but i play on EU... wondering whether to go US or not

you could sell ur stuff on eu, get fg and buy new stuff on NA

lld hammer isnt op if you know how to duel against it lol. or maybe vs chars like zeal or smiter, but every build has some builds that are overpowered against it
