I have Mizuno Mp-60 irons. I love them but, they are 5 years old and I'm pretty sure I have lost about 10 yards on them and the mid to short irons grooves are pretty worn out but, not to the point that I can't put any spin on the ball and hold greens.

Ping Rapture V2 Driver. I've had it 3 years. I hit it really well... and as consistently as I could hope to. I could use something that feels a little more solid and maybe something with a slightly hotter face.

Leaning irons... LMK what you think

I would replace your irons first.

-you hit them more than your driver
-as long as your accurate you could probably easily play without a driver at all.
-the grooves are balding
-they're really old. :)

Question.
How well do you hit your driver? Are you accurate with it?

Have you tried graphite shafts? Noticed you use steel just seeing if maybe you have seen how well you hit with them.

I play with a stiff flex shaft in my driver. Though, I'm not too picky on kick points and all that. I usually just go standard.
I'd also like to get irons to get into those project X shafts. I'm still using Dynamic Golds.
I hit my driver accurately enough... I'd be interested in one of the new longer hitting drivers though.
If I get a driver, I'd probably get new wedges as well just because... go back to vokeys (I've been playing the CG-16 and 508s the past couple years.

So really this is Driver + wedges vs Irons.

KBS Tour or S2000 shafts for irons

Why replace a driver that works?

Length is only advantage it would give me. I already know I can gain 15+ yards with the new Taylormades. I haven't even tried anything else yet.
15 yards is definitely worth looking into.

I had an old titleist before and I loved it because it felt so solid while others were getting too light and hollow feeling.
I'll definitely try a D2 before I make up my mind

I'd go with irons. Go to a golf store and try out a new set and see what modern sticks you like. I got a new set of irons almost 2 years ago and dropped about 10 strokes..

Depending on which set you get you can get a new wedge with them so then you'll be left with just driver to upgrade.
