so 1.5 dagger + 0.15 dual wield + wotb 0.4 + 0.08 ring + 0.09 andy = 2.22

So with enchantress I get to this:
2.22223-2.50000 aps - 8 frames per tick - 7.50 ticks per second - 23 ticks?

youre doing it wrong, youre adding weapon speed and offhand ias

its weapons speed multiplied by all ias mods %

and wotb is 0.25 not 0.4

for example dagger and enchantress

(1.5 + 0.03) x 1+(0.15 + 0.25 + 0.08 + 0.09)

mainhand 1.33 x 1.57 = 2.0881 = 6.67 tps
offhand 1.53 x 1.57 = 2.4021 = 7.5 tps

between them you average 7.08 tps

I believe it is

i personally like to play with either weapon throw + no escape passive, or hota + armor passive. Weapon throw is for fun times when i wanna have fun when im mfin n just fuck around (and there were many times that i wished i had a ranged attack vs molten n stuff in like mp8+ haha). but if im in serious grind for gettin items fast, i use hota. the smash rune just makes me do stupid damage, i can crit for like 1 mil and it makes choppin elites in mp5-6 VERY fast. So im runnin like im farmin mp1. Very efficient i say and my barb is pretty mediocore. And cold dam soj is my new best friend. I ran with a regular soj until i tried a cold one recent...and i must say, i can actually ww kill a goblin on high mp lvls instead of relyin on my hota to kill them which was my old method (so now i can hota kill them or just sprint+ ww kill them due to the snareing. win-win situation).

so i advise any barb, get ANY cold dam soj, doesnt even have to be a barb oriented one. Even a 5% cold N 20% elite dam one is amazing. That snare effect is something you cant give up. Its SO important for killing goblins n helpin you kill kiters that like to run away and not to mention when you leave your fart trail of nados, it snares EVERYTHING that touches those nados. I like to call them ice farts of doom haha. only noobs want that e-peen paper dps. Id take my soj anyday.

Only time ive found rend more useful then HOTA is mp10 (which everyone knows is NOT efficient farming, but its just for kicks when i wanna do a giant monster chase train at bridge of korsak to draw every single mob to the center then just sit for 10minutes ww killin 4x elites + trash mobs) . That is when rend ends up saving my ass cause i ww + sprint spamin as usual in wotb. But i use rend for emergency heal in a big pack. Instant full rejuv like d2 days. Overpower with the revel is ok too for that situation, but i had better results with rend + the bloodlust rune when i just smacked in the middle of like a mob of 200 monsters lol. Ill try use overpower again in that situation see if i like it more over rend.

But other then that, my choice of poison is to run hota over my war cry (though its even better when you play with a barb friend that uses war cry )

i hope people bother to read these threads so they can stop askin the same dam question about barbs and having us spoon feed them.

anyways yea all up to preferance... HOTA is def nice especially for killing goblins in higher MP lvls

Why using a cold soj like this?

It's better to buy a cheap one (class doesn't matter) and put on your scoundrel, with multishot and the snare spell. You have the same effect, countering echo fury, and you free a ring slot for a trifecta or w/e.

IMO Only good barb soj are -5 HOTA ones.

If you don't play solo, chances are someone in your party will have a snare or a freeze, so you can dump it as well.
