6.5 pound brown caught on a nymph in central North Island, New Zealand. Not a trophy but I was pretty stoked with it.

My biggest brown to date, they are so difficult to catch in these rivers.

Thats not necessarily true. They put limits for a reason, if it was unsustainable they would lower the limits. A lot of time harvesting is a good thing for a fishery because there isnt an unlimited amount of prey fish(aka food).
