I am about 6'4" and need some new clubs, I was borrowing my dad's and they were extremely small for me. If anyone has any good/bads about these clubs that would be great, or if they have an idea for a price I should offer him.

FYI those ping irons are about 20 years old. The Cleveland driver is from this year 299 retail, Although I really didn't make golfs top driver list. It does seem like those clubs would fit you, If you like him you can probably offer what's the lowest he would take is. It does seem like a pretty good deal because of all the extras.

See if you can test them for a round

I think you would need longer than an inch extra. You can also probably find a better set somewhere else. Look up some golf shops and check them out. Som may overprice but you may also be able to find a good deal. Then look for a bag itself separately as they tend to be expensive retailed, they're pretty cheap privately sold. Drive through garage sales or somethin for a bag.

You could also see if he would let you hit them at a driving range to see how they feel.

yea, length of a club matters during the swing it's not just based on your overall hight

I ended up meeting him at a driver range between both of our homes. He was a super nice guy, older, excellent golfer. Clubs looked great, hit about 50 balls before I offered him $420. I'm happy with the set now, in the future when I'm better ill get me some brand new nice clubs (:

yea i hit that club a bunch when we had Cleveland Demo day here. It felt really balanced
