No str bug
This comes in handy while facing assassins and druids. However, it will work versus any class. What this does it hides your frw percentage from the server. E.G. You have 115 frw but it only shows you having 30 frw. The easiest way to do it (Thanks to Tails Chao for telling me) is to use a Scarab Enigma, 2/20fcr/str/life Amulet, and a Str Ring. Every time you die, flash (pick up and put back down) your ring and amulet and you will be str bugged

Druids are one of the hardest classes for a necromancer to duel. The first thing you will want to do is get your DR setup on (CoA, trangs, white, spirit, arachs, 2x fcr rings, soul spurs (or treks)) Second, when you start the duel, try to take out their zoo first by using teeth. When you see their oak die and most of their wolves, do your best to get a name lock and spear them. Repeat this process until they are dead. If you are in a situation where they have stomped you, WSG out of their stomp, and spear them. Another technique is walking and teething/spearing, however, this will make the duel much much longer. Another technique would be a walking technique, this would require a lot of frw. You will walk, name lock, and teeth/spear (your choice). bone spear does more damage and pierces 3 wolves, and teeth can take out the whole zoo at once. However, bone spear will damage the druid as well as the zoo. Another tactic of killing a druid is to make a train of bone spirits and try to lure them into the train. This will not only cause massive damage, but it will also make them fhr'd

Barbarians

At the start of the duel, while they are leaping, name lock and cast bone spirits. If they begin to walk away, bone prison them. Doing this gives the spirits time to catch up and cause damage. If you want a more offensive technique, at the start of the duel, rush the character and stomp with your golem so that it slows his attack. Then you can spear or spirit. Whichever you feel is more effective. If a barbarian stomps you and starts to whirlwind you, bone prison yourself. This makes it harder for the barbarian's whirlwind to hit you because it is hitting the bone prison instead of you. This tactic will not work if you are dueling a fast barbarian. In this case, if he starts leaping you, teleport away as fast as possible. If they are constantly leaping, start a train of bone spirits and lure him into it.

1x SOJ/BK - SOJ for more mana or BK for more life

Amulets

Smiters are usually no problem for necromancers. All you have to do is use your DR setup. When they are charging you, cast a bone wall around you, or bone prison them. Then spear them (not spirit because smiters get out of the prison quickly and the spirits move too slow). Another way of killing smiters is name locking them while they charge away and casting a few spirits and then bone prisoning.

One of the best 1v1 mirror matchess; NvN. You will use the same setup as you were facing a hammerdin, but instead of waterwalks, use aldurs. NvN requires you to have a clay golem at all times. Bo him if possible. This is because when you stomp the other necro, your golem will block all of the hits. Thus giving you the advantage for the kill. If they restomp (You stomp them but they stomp again to get on top), spear in the upward direction, pointing a little to the right or left (most people call this upspam, but it is upsear, a gm technique in nvn). Since spirit is not allowed in NvN, you must only use teeth, and bone spear. No curses are allowed either. In my personal opinion, if you just walk spear, you will win more often. This is because while you are walking, you can get an easier name lock and wait for them to stomp you to upspear.

This type of paladin gets raped by a necromancer most of the time. While dueling a hammerdin, they will synch, causing invisible hammers. The 100% effective way to kill them quickly is to get a lock, cast spirit 3-4 times, then cast bone prison to slow them down. If they are on your screen and you think they are about to stomp you, you can do one of two things: 1) cast bone spirits down (that way they come back up and fhr them) or 2) WSG away and spear/spirit where you were previously standing.

Amazons

Gear Setup:
Helms
- Crown of Ages (Cham, Ber)

Weapon
- 40 res hoto
- 6 BO CTA

Boots
- Aldurs - Aim for 50 Fire Resists

Gloves
- Trangs

Shields
- 35 FCR/112 Mana /8 Sorb Spirit Mon

In my opinion, this is the hardest class for a necromancer to duel because of the amazon's gear. Since they use fort, you can not bone prison them due to it being BM against non-teleporting characters (there are some cases where an amazon will have an enigma and it will be GM to bone prison them). The best skill (offensive) to use against amazons is Bone Spirit. This is because Bone Spirit is like a necromancer's guided arrow. It will follow the amazon until it hits, or runs out of distance. Another great way to kill an amazon is to stomp them and spear them causing their Avoid/Dodge/Evade to make them stop and they get fhr'd. But the best tactic to use versus an amazon is to start a spirit train and teeth them until they are dead. They will obviously try to WSG away but when they do, teleport in front of them and cast spirits/teeth in the direction they are walking.

Sorceresses

Fire Sorc:

Gear Setup (versus fire):
Helms
- 2nec/30frw/20fcr/str/life/2os Diadem (Jah, Jah)

Weapon
- 8spear/6spirit/3 Skill White - For the 3 Skill: Lower Resists, Decrepify, or Revive; your choice
- 6 BO CTA

Boots
- Aldurs - Aim for 50 Fire Resists

Gloves
- Bloodfists
- Trangs

Shields
- 35 FCR/112 Mana /8 Sorb Spirit Mon
- BO Spirit

Belt
- Arachs

Rings
1x 10 FCR/Str/Life/Mana/Res - Aim for Dual Resists
1x Dwarf

Amulets
- 2nec/20fcr/str/life

To duel a fire sorceress, you will want to wear hotspurs OR 1x dwarf. Bone Spirit/Spear are the best skills to use when you are dueling a good fire sorceress. Some can be taken out just by stomping and spearing them, that is only if they aren't experienced.

Cold Sorc:

Gear Setup (versus cold)
Helms
- 2nec/30frw/20fcr/str/life/2os Diadem (Jah, Jah)

Weapon
- 8spear/6spirit/3 Skill White - For the 3 Skill: Lower Resists, Decrepify, or Revive; your choice
- 6 BO CTA

Boots
- Soul Spurs

Gloves
- Trangs

Shields
- 35 FCR/112 Mana /8 Sorb Spirit Mon
- BO Spirit

Belt
- Arachs

Rings
1x 10 FCR/Str/Life/Mana/Res - Aim for Dual Resists
1x Ravenfrost

Amulets
- 2nec/20fcr/str/life

To duel a cold sorceress, you will want 1x raven OR snowclash. Your clay golem is immune to cold IF you put atleast 1 point into summon resist. Try to keep your distance because of the sorc's high cold res. Bone Spear and Bone Spirit are the best skills to use.

Light Sorc:

Gear Setup (versus light):
Helms
- 2nec/30frw/20fcr/str/life/2os Diadem (Jah, Jah)

Weapon
- 8spear/6spirit/3 Skill White - For the 3 Skill: Lower Resists, Decrepify, or Revive; your choice
- 6 BO CTA

Boots
- Soul Spurs

Gloves
- Trangs

Shields
- 35 FCR/112 Mana /8 Sorb Spirit Mon
- BO Spirit

Belt
- TGods

Rings
1x 10 FCR/Str/Life/Mana/Res - Aim for Dual Resists
1x SOJ/BK - SOJ for more mana or BK for more life

Amulets
- 2nec/20fcr/str/life

Typically, you will not see many light sorcs in public games. All you need is thundergods to counter their attack. Since their damage varies, you can be very offensive when dueling a light sorc. Just stomp and use Bone Spear/Spirit.

ES Sorc:
When dueling an ES sorc (Which is actually the hardest opponent for a necromancer) the best tactics to use are spirit trains, and mass teething. Each hit from the spirit/teeth will take out a lot of mana, and sometimes fhr them. If you see them get fhr'd, take that oppurtunity to stomp and use bone spear for the kill.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Assassins

Gear Setup:
Helms
- 2nec/30frw/20fcr/str/life/2os Diadem (Jah, Jah)

Weapon
- 8spear/6spirit/3 Skill White - For the 3 Skill: Lower Resists, Decrepify, or Revive; your choice
- 6 BO CTA

Boots
- Soul Spurs

Gloves
- Trangs

Shields
- 35 FCR/112 Mana /8 Sorb Spirit Mon
- BO Spirit

Belt
- TGods

Rings
1x 10 FCR/Str/Life/Mana/Res - Aim for Dual Resists
1x SOJ/BK - SOJ for more mana or BK for more life

Amulets
- 2nec/20fcr/str/life

Dueling an assassin is sometimes hard for a necromancer. The gear to GM sorb is 1x wisp OR tgods (I prefer tgods). During the duel, the assassin will more than likely use mind blast or fire blast to fhr you. To counter this, just WSG downwards and teleport away when you feel that it is safe to do so. The assassin's claw block can block any attack, making it hard to land hits with Bone Spear/Spirit. Because of this, the duel will sometimes be long and drawn out. The assassin's shadow is the most annoying part of the duel. To kill the shadow, teeth it away.

BM Pubs

Gear Setup:
Helms
- 2nec/30frw/20fcr/str/life/2os Diadem (Jah, Jah)

Weapon
- Wizzy (20/15'd) - Additional resists
- 6 BO CTA

Boots
- Hot Spurs

Gloves
- Trangs

Shields
- 35 FCR/112 Mana /8 Sorb Spirit Mon
- BO Spirit

Belt
- TGods

Rings
1x 10 FCR/Str/Life/Mana/Res - Aim for Dual Resists
Ring With Sorb - Dwarf, Wisp, or Ravenfrost (Depends on the element you are facing)

Amulets
- Sorb Amulet - The Rising Sun

BM pub games can be fun, but can become a very hostile environment. To solve this, just throw on some BM sorb and spam. That is all there is to it. While using this setup, you will have 85% Fire Resist, 85% Light Resist, 75% Cold Resist, and 75% Poison Resist (This includes the resist from your inventory; Torch, Anni, 20/5's, and 5/5).

Definitely sticky worthy.

Real nice guide man.

My only suggestion to make it better would be to give some ideas on numbers you can expect to hit.
