If your opinion of "best possible" means best possible for $500 than maybe but if you want something that you're not going to ask yourself "Why did I buy this thinking it would be a great gaming laptop when in reality it's a hunk of junk that's slow and dies in an hour" then no, no you can't.
If you want a gaming laptop that can play anything you're going to have to shell out money that no one should be comfortable paying for a laptop. The easiest way to save money is to forgo a long lasting battery which basically defeats the purpose of a laptop.
