Is a Poison Nova necro viable on /players 8 with non-ladder RWs? Did anyone try like CS or Travi with em? I can tell they struggle from when I played but he actually did good damage to non-poison immunes. They seem to scale well with items.

"Only" the 3-part TO combo would be huge...

my first ever single player char that I took seriously was poison nova. I can tell you that with 3 piece trang, bramble, shako, maras, hoto or dweb, arach, soj soj , cta they can certainly do very well vs all in hell p8

Yeah. Reason I couldn't pass Act 2 was all the poison immunes. Even with high LR I couldn't do more damage than they regened

This try would be different tho...

Hmm, at least for me, amp/merc/CE took out all poison immunes easily

e/ did you use holy freeze merc?

You understimate how bad my merc was that WT

haha damn, yeah I pretty much rely on a strong/reliable merc on most of my chars. Makes for a few extra playstyle options. Well I personally think a poison nec would be really fun, and rewarding if you can fully gear it because it's a tough order and on a non-op char.

Mhm... it had might I think. Merc does a lot really.

yeah it should have might, HF would explode the corpses on you.

also sucks that you cant use reapers on merc for poison nec because you need to always have LR on.. but eth upgraded hone sundan is sexy too

My first WT was with a psn necro...reached A5 NM without any farming. I even didnt use CE cause I found it too easy and no summons except golem.

So I guess with CE it's gonna be easy to reach hell! Bosses are lonnnng to kill tho with only psn damage....my merc sucked in this WT so I had to run, cast poison nova...run...cast poison nova....its safe, but long!
