Hi everyone! I have just bought a laptop and installed Windows 7.
I would like to turn wifi on, it should be the Fn+F2 key combination, but it doesnt turn it on,
also if I plug in an ethernet cable with internet connection(obviously) then it doesnt recognize it,
Can anyone help me on what should I do or what am I doing wrong? thanks in advance!

Update your drivers, might have to get on another comp and download them.

I'll try this, thanks but what is this that I need drivers to turn the wifi on?
I mean it would be a lot easier to download drivers from the laptop itself, I can't understand how come wifi cant be switched on
and I need drivers to join a network?:D
When I press on Connecting to internet or smth like this(not using english system) then it says Windows hasn't found a network device

you might need the function key drivers and ethernet drivers.

went to asus website downloaded all the drivers for my laptop yet cant fuckign join internet what the actual fuck is wrong with the system

did you install the intel wireless driver or the atheros? I don't think they come with atheros so you'll need the intel one. It took me a bit ot get my wireless going as well.

the intel one didn't run, some error came up so I downloaded the ateos one, that one didnt change anything
but I downloaded the driver for cable net and that doesnt work aswell so I don't know what to do really, do I need to download some function key driver or what to be able to turn wifi on with FnF2?

I still have no success in this subject... can someone tell me what should I do in theory to get a working computer together? I can download anything from my pc and then put it onto the laptop, type is asus k53 sd
