Yes but won't be adhered to because #1, mods don't care about spoilers it's really not a priority, and #2, the majority of d2jsp users are happier to spoil a show than discuss without spoiling.

I could see this being used in a bad/trollful way. Could imagine something like this to be used to generate a LOT more spam, which would require even more action from the mod team. We definitely don't need that. Even though its a great and considerate idea, could see it being more bad than good.

why would it generate spam?

And this isn't only to hide spoiler texts, it would also allow to hide images, including the huge ones that don't fit in the screen and cause all the posts in the thread page to expand far to the side making it more akward to browse. It would actually allow to keep things neater imo.

because instead of just scrolling thru a topic at 10000 mph looking for naughty pictures mods would have to look for spoiler tags and they would have to click them to see whats inside which would waste half a second of their life per spoiler tag

The mods would go directly to the reported post. And there wouldn't be necessaraly a ton of spoiler tags in that post. The youtube tag only works once per post, the image tag only 3 times....the spoiler tag would also be limited to 1-3 uses per post.
