I can't seem to find any solid information about imbuing in Classic (what levels to do it at, what to imbue at those levels). Aside from grim helms, what else would you imbue, and at what levels would you use them? Ones I figured that make sense are ornate plates and maybe grim shields?

because you only need that 1 good ed mod
for shields/armors you need multiple mods for the item to be good

imo marts and bhs

as for what level, its clvl + 4 result item
so plan accordingly based on what mods you want to spawn on a particular item

that's two mods actually, one gives 100% ed and the other the remaining 100%ed and some ar.

I notice when people find really high ED% weapons, they usually have really low or really high AR.
Can both the ED% mods be ED+AR, or is one ED and the other is ED + AR with a random roll and I'm just crazy :P

and there is another that is just ar :p

btw these are 3 prefixes. finding a high ed weapon with close to 300 ar... that's insane

my point was with weapons you only need 1 good mod which is damage, not # of affixes required for that mod

vs something like grim shield you need defense, +2, pris or defense pris 30/20

true, plus weapons don't get much useless mods like mdr or atd or whatever.

The only problem is that I'm using these imbues on lvl 60-75 chars, so chances are, weapons would be a waste.
Any advice
