I was chillin enjoying the sun.. And I decided to sit down and the thing I thought was a dead leaf jumps the fuck up and flutters away to a nearby rock like a grasshopper..

I'm in nw Washington.. I don't ever recall seeing one of those here.... But it is summer....




I couldn't catch a pic of it...

No takers? Anyone know wth this coulda been?

It's near impossible to tell you what it was without a better description or an image.

If I were you, I would just start google imaging "locust" "grasshopper" "brown locust" / etc.

It was a red catydid from Florida....

best time to csb it up
