Sup guys. Just thought i'd make a thread telling people about me. I just started playing wow. Currently i have a level 60 Frost Deathknight and 57 Protection paladin. Right now im playing on the server ICECROWN. Because i am new, i don't really know a lot about world of warcraft. I know how to do dungeons, quests, and thats about it haha. I got to about 275 mining on my paladin. Im not exactly sure what i expect right now because i know so little about the game, but does anyone have any suggestions as far as what i should do to make gold? Get better at PVP? Can someone explain to me the different Add-ons? How do i get them? I also can't figure out how to set other hotkeys other than the first 1-12 on the origional spell bar. Really i'm just asking for a walkthrough of the basics, any websites i can browse through that could help me on how to build my character for different things like PVP and Raiding etc.

Thanks guys.

Oh and i guess ill say this. I'm Alex. I played runescape before world of warcraft for close to 7 years. If anyone ever needs help with runescape or something i can definitely do my best to answer questions about that haha. I was pretty well known on the runescape forum as well, as of about a year or two ago. I joined the navy, so i stopped playing runescape, and now im just starting to get into wow because I have a few friends that i work with that play and have been playing for quite some time.

So yeah. Thanks again and have a good day!

just watch high skill level videos see what to they learn from the positioning they use and communication, once you pretty much get your positioning and communication down arenas are really simple.

Google curse client, download the program, make an account, and browse through the most popular addons for things that interest you

Runescape is probably a better game to play while in the Navy, as it is more of a game you can play at your own pace.

To have "fun" ...or even to just keep up in wow, it requires much more time investment, and by the time you invest that time, there is another thing introduced that requires just as much time.

hmm in a way yes but in another no.

once you know what your doing and ding 85 and have profs maxed. raiding and capping everything out can take a few hours. leaving nothing to do except pvp or play alts.

my suggestion would be to not download curse client. you can download all of the files in zip format and just unzip them into your addons folder for WoW......there has been problems in the past with people getting hacked over curse's client i believe.
