I'm going to be the 3rd person to enunciate, no you do not need any Uniques at all unless you cannot afford a good rare. Even so, a good rare is cheaper than Unique. Hope you got my most straight forward answer.

e: I think only legendary item that Kingkonger has for example is skullgrasp but its not a must either, so basicly all rares

what's best way to increase armour? i'm running nerves of steel, and enchantress, and it's still not enough, i'd love to run scoundrel and a better passive than + armour (barb just has so many sweet ones!) is the only way to get +armour on all my gear? only pants has it atm =\ so hard to find gg armour with +armour bonus for a decent amount....

running 900-1k+ all resists, so the survivability is fine in that case, but 7k armour isn't enough, perhaps it's jsut the low hp i think i'm at 27-32k or so

7k armour is fine, try getting higher Hp, like 45k +. Also, the amount of LoH and the number of ticks your nados do affect your tanking abilities. Try hitting 800LoH (if shield build) or 1500LoH (if dw), 700ar, 45%cc unbuff (if shield build) or 35%cc (if dw). Also your kill rate is very affected by the damage range on your main-hand and the aps of your off-hand. It is the nados from your sprint that did most of the ticks thereby improves LoH.
