Really? I use all my clubs ( 60*, PW, 9, 8, 7, 4 Hybrid, Driver and putter ofc) except for 5/6. The only time I use my 5/6 is for 190ish par 3s or for dog leg shots to the corner from the tee

I'm still very new.. My clubs are all mixed, just a starter bag of used items.

I just started last year so I am pretty new too. I would really try the 9. When I first started, my best irons were the Pw, 9 and 7 by far. I just recently started to hit the 5/6 well but they still go to the right but the others go perfectly straight.

The 8 is also just like the others so you may also like that. I never used it until today and found it really helpful.

My goal today was to use the 3/4 when I should, turned out a few hits and misses with it. PW is a close 2nd to the 7 for me.

Have you tried using a hybrid? My first starter set included a 4 hybrid and i loved using it so I never had the chance to try a 3/4 iron. i'm sure i would have sucked with them because the 5 took a long time to get decent.

definitely going to add that to the new bag I buy either late this year or in February with my tax return. I see a ton of hybrids on the fairway.

I would try them out before you buy them. Some people just have a hard time hitting them like my friend. He hits his irons really well but when he tries his hybrids, he hits it right all the time. I definitely like the idea of the new bag though. I just bought my bag throughout the last 2 months and I definitely love my new clubs (bought my driver for 140 and got a free putter with it (callaway diablo octance and odyssey dart putter), burner 2.0s with hybrids, R11 3 wood and my 52, 60* wedges).

Also, there was an amazing deal earlier on today for the R11 irons (5-PW - $350, 4-PW $400) RBZ 5-PW - $330, and Taylormade MC TP 5-PW for 350. They have a few sets of r11 irons and MC TPS left. I was honestly contemplating buying them even though I recently bought mine just so I could use them and resell my burners but decided against it. Oh well
