After watching Quarantine I decided not to watch REC, is REC 2 any good? Would I get anything out of watching REC 1 after having seen Quarantine?

Are you looking for Gore? Psychological Suspense? I thought The Strangers was one of the better scary films post 1995. I thought The Last Exorcism was awesome. I've heard good things about Inside and Martyrs, although I haven't seen them. Previously mentioned, Shutter is an excellent choice, as is The Eye (Original of course) I'd say I've seen a good majority of horror films post 95' I can't recommend any of them off the top of my head though, horror movies have become garbage, POV seems to be the only way Horror films can scare people nowadays. Which is sad.

WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT WATCH THE FILM The Graves! It is a terrible piece of dog shit that will waste slightly over an hour of your life. It's not even Bad-Good it's just Bad-Shit.

shutter was the most scariest for me, I'll add only one thing that I saw like 70% of all horrors which was produced since 2000 year

And one good at nowadays, The Pact from 2012 also nice.

I agree with you about shutter

I've seen a lot of Asian horror movies. Around 50-100 probably. Shutter was the scariest and one of the best :)

Acting is scary movies tends to be shotty, which takes me out of the mood.

Most scary movies are like comedies to me, don't think I've ever had that scared feeling throughout an entire movie, occasionally I get that creeped out feeling after the movie has finished though, 4th Kind did it to me lol

Signs and cold creek manor rustled my jimmies, but that was when I was a lot younger. I can't think of any movies that really scared me though.
