Jimmy G knows Leonard, and as he dies, Jimmy G (the drug dealer that Leonard kills) says 'Sammy', which makes me that he is calling Leonard: "Sammy". and considering how Leonard confuses his past with Sammy's (thinking sammy killed his wife with insulin, when he didnt have a wife; it was leonard who killed his wife with insulin.) Does that mean he is Sammy?

But then, Teddy says that Leonard "exposed Sammy for what he was: a con man."

Which means, that Sammy is an actual person and its not Leonard right? Leonard is only confusing their stories or something and he actually was an Insurance Investigator? I get especially confused because it shows Leonard talking to Sammy's wife.. DId he just like imagine that or something that doesn't make any sense to me.

Because I would understand it if like say Leonard was Sammy, and he has this thing where he is the one getting visited by the Insurance Investigator but he recalls it like he was the Insurance Investigator investigating Sammy who he thinks is a different person but is actually him..


Anyways, if someone loves this movie and understands it well I would appreciate some help its really bugging me lol.

If you like to take things at face value and form opinions on what you KNOW as a viewer then in this case its easier to make your mind up..

I personally think nolan and his movies (this one in particular) are somewhat overrated . Im by no means a hater, i think as young directors go hes solid and his movies are very entertaining.
