So the little 13 year old boy wonder who wrote "Defining Conservatism" 4 years ago finally grew up. What did 4 years of education do?

But a quick rundown of his current political stances suggests a serious pendulum swing away from the right.

Gay marriage? In favor. Obamacare? “It’s a good idea.” Who would he vote for (if he could) in November? “Probably Barack Obama.” His favorite TV shows? “The Daily Show” and “The Colbert Report.” His favorite magazine? The New Yorker. And, perhaps telling of all, Krohn is enrolling this fall at a college not exactly known for its conservatism: New York University.

“I think I’ve just matured overall,” he added.

I wish more Republicans would mature as well, throwing feces at John Roberts and whatnot.

Are you inferring that republicans are uneducated and immature? In your last statement about Justice Roberts it sounds as though you are speaking about a certain sect. But the impression in your overall post is that republicans are uneducated and immature.

Who cares?

I doubt the kid ever knew what the fuck he was talking about. And just because he likes to watch the Daily Show and Colbert doesn't mean he has the knowledge to actually make informed judgments on the opinions they espouse.

So a popular and charismatic guy changed his mind about some things. Maybe that's good, maybe it isn't. What's so spectacular?

I wish all prominent political spheres could be competent and down to earth
