Idk, I like going into a shotgun battle knowing if I lose it's because I fucked up, not because:

I lagged
shot's didn't register
he's host
2 shot downed me from 40 ft

ironically that all happens/can happen in gears 3

I've never experienced any host connections that I know of, and very rarely lag.

Can you lag in gears 3? yes
do shots sometimes feel like they don't register? yes
host? not that I've seen, but for shits and giggles let's say it does happen
2 shot downed from very far? no not really

2 of those things can for sure happen sometimes on gears 3, but all 4 of those things happen every game on gears 2

when I didnt have the dlc there was always host, and just becasue theres not host doesnt mean people have a better latency. also yes sometimes the shotgun can 2 shot down very far away, usually with an active, not as far as gears 2 but w/e. gears 3 is still better than gears 2.

I never lag on gears 3. Gears 2 on the other hand.... We all know the story on Gears 2...
