Oh dear god the handwriting. its nearly illegible Is there a source where you got that from?

the wrighting is on a realy old looking katana and i just took my wacom bamboo gfx tablet and drew them out the best i could

the third line from the right, reading downwards says "zhao he shi nian" which is, in mandarin, means year 10 of the showa period. history and information regarding the showa period can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shōwa_period

as for the other two lines i can read some of the characters but some are illegible therefore i cannot give you an accurate translation at this moment.
