No. The reason why D3 was fail was there was shit for content.

Beat the game 4 times. Okay now do it again without dying.

I suppose you are new to the Diablo series? Diablo is all about playing the content over and over again.

Just pre-purchase it!
Im a huge fan of Gowoz and played it almost 6 years straight from the beginning in 2005 (last year less because I;ve done everything).

So my biggest issue was prepurchasing the normal, deluxe or collecters edition. Since teh CE is 150 bucks and I didnt have the money I said, well ok, ill buy the deluxe. But That ain;t worth the money because you get a couple of single use consumables, a mini pet and an elite skill. The mini will end up in my storage and the elite skill (probably) wont be end game, so I ended up happily purchasing teh normal Gowoz2.

If you like gw a bit, just buy the normal game.

It will be worth your money, no doubts.

D3 felt shit to begin with in the demo, I wasn't excited at all when I first tried it.
GW2 felt amazing on the other hand and I'm sure it will continue to be at final release.

d3 was a complete waste of 60. should have spent buying a new psu lol

takes forever to get 99 in diablo 2
diablo 3 is 1 day to get max level
people have nothing to strive for
diablo 3 is also very limited, and will be in its pvp unless they allow fun games between friends and complete freedom with it. i doubt it
its nothing compared to diablo 2

Diablo 2 was also made by an entirely different team.
I mean, you guys do know the genius behind Diablo 1 and 2 no longer works for Blizzard, and D3 was made without him, right? He's currently working on Marvel Heroes, which is basically Diablo 2, updated in the Marvel universe, also its not shit like D3.

Anyway, GW2 is going to be an alright game, nothing amazing. Anyone telling you it's going to be an incredible genre-changer is a retard and they should be ignored. It will fall into a very niche crowd, much like GW1 after a few months. Virtually 0 endgame. Claiming that you can 'endgame' any any point in the game isn't endgame, no matter how hard they try to pretend like it is. PvP needs some work, but will end up being the main focus of the game, we'll have to see how long that will carry the game.
