The differece is within the setnence Ezra son of god and Ezra the High priest which was a minor charater in the bible.
The Ezra simpleforce was talking about isn't known to me.
I hope thats make it clear.

I thought his claim was that Jews worship the Ezra character in the Bible (I know that this is false).

The Quran claims it, but there are no known incidences of Jews considering him the Son of God.

The reference to Jeremiah 8:8 interested me. I have often debated, among many other aspects, that the Bible has been through translation and additions and we are expected to blindly follow every word. He is a solid example as he DOES believe every word. This verse will help me clarify a contradiction at the least.

A religious text claiming something for which there is no actual evidence? Must be a first.

And if ye are in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto Our slave (Muhammad), then produce a surah of the like thereof, and call your witness beside Allah if ye are truthful. And if ye do it not - and ye can never do it - then guard yourselves against the Fire prepared for disbelievers, whose fuel is of men and stones. / Qur'an 2:23-24

Now that you've run out of attempts at creating a rational argument, you've relegated yourself to saying "nyah nyah, my holy book says you're going to a bad place when you die!" Please. Your hell is the annoying little brother that wants to be just like REAL hell when he grows up, but that inferiority complex will always keep him from ever living up to his dream.

Oh, so the quran doesn't deny that god created evil. :P Nice to know that your god is evil and proud of it.

No, you said things way wrong.
There were Jews who believed Ezra was the son of god.

They might not be around anymore, or not even well recorded. Who knows one day they will find evidence of this. At one point they were laughing the Quran mentioned an engineer for the pharaoh and there was confusion of this. After Rosetta Stone, the laugh turned on them.

God created man to do good and evil. Our purpose revolves around this concept. God is not evil, he is perfect.
