Okay, well, I used to play a lot of cs once, mostly css, but after i sold my computer I only play cs 1,6 as that's the only game my fathers computer can run.
Okay, for about a week ago, I had no issues at all, but now I suddenly lag like a freaking maniac?

My fps goes up and down from 70-100, I have no constant fps. My ms is like 30-40 or lower. I have a ping on max 20.
I have no launch options or anything. I haven't really changed anything besides my vertical sync..

But even when I change back my vertical sync to normal, I still lag, so I doubt it have anything to do with that..

Also, when I say lag, I don't mean like my game is lagging, only I lag.. When people runs past me, they don't lag at all, but I do.. Idk how to explain it.
Well, I can't run, because it just "teleports" me back to the last location, and I can't really shoot or anything. It's like my man is frozen for half a sec, then he's normal for 1/4 sec, and then frozen again for half a sec.

And just to mention it again, it's only my own man that have this lag, everyone else in game don't seem to lag to me.

ee: nvm, found out the problem, was because of VOIPlay I lagged like that.. If anyone plays Playzeek

Could be something running in the background, go to your task manager -> process tab and see if anything's using a bucket load of memory. Could try hunt out your cache in your apps folder and delete that, or reinstall.

if you're on windows 7 press "Windows key, then type "Resource"" you can then see what is taking up most of your ram/cpu/network

few questions

do you use a laptop? if you do see if it's in power saver mode, if it is switch it to something else.
have you tried reinstalling CS?
do you lag on other games? (you can also press "Windows key + R" then type "ping -t google.com" in run. then watch your ping to see if it spikes a lot or it looks normal.)
would you say this is hardware/performance lag (FPS) or network related lag (ping), or both
