I believe love exists. Love, by definition, is "a strong feeling of affection for another person" and I've certainly felt that before.

Nah, theres romantic love, companion love, and consumate love.

First ones the butterfly in the stomach feeling/i want you/honeymoon period (usually doesnt last long), 2nd is the weve been with each other for awhile/were in this together till death due us part feeling (lasts longer), third is both at once (usually doesnt happen often or last long). Got this for a psychology textbook.

Love is a biological process. I once heard you only can be in "love" in 44 months or something around that, and that should be one of the reason for suddenly not seeing your partner as attractive as in the beginning. (maybe a reason why some couples get a divorce)

A set time for love to expire? Rediculous. As for it existing, well if you ask me, I'd say it exists, but there are different degrees of love. Having someone to believe in and go through life togther isn't a dead notion. It relies on alot more than superficial things. Don't look for love, look first for similar interests.
