It's an emotion fabricated to sell Valentines Day cards.

While I agree Valentines Day is way too popular and for the wrong reasons, I disagree that love is fabricated.~ Though if you were to say love today doesn't hold the same meaning as it did centuries ago, I'd agree!

Just another way to 'try' to persuade you to spend money.

How would you know?

/e: Love is just the same, it's simply because people, now, don't want to live with someone they don't truly love anymore. People before were not allowed to leave eachother, so they just learned to deal with it

Love is the one thing I can truly believe in :)

It may come and go sometimes, but it most certainly exists.

It's an opinion?

But you know, just by asking previous generations you can quite quickly find out how much the notion of "love" has changed in such a short space of time. It's not too far fetched to believe that earlier than their generations it held even more importance. It's not exactly a big secret that the concept of love these days is severely perverted (Highlighting the fact that I use the term perverted for its corrupt meaning, not sexual).
