Compromised Diablo III Account? Here's how to fix it.

First you must secure your account.

Follow the instructions below to secure a compromised Diablo III account

Step 1. Securing your email and computer

Ensuring that your computer and email address are secure is a critical step in recovering from an account compromise. (If your email appears to have been changed without approval from you contact Battle.Net)

Step 2. Securing your Battle.Net account

Reset your Battle.Net account password. (This will sucure your account ~ if you can not reset your password contact battle.net and they will assist you)

If you receive an error message that says the account has been disabled, closed, or suspended, check your registered email address for a message from Blizzard Entertainment.

Step 3. Add an Authenticator

An authenticator offers an additional layer of account security. Authenticators work by providing a secure authentication code upon command that will be unique to your Battle.net account.
After an authenticator is associated with your Battle.net account, the generated code will be necessary to log in, increasing your protection against compromise attacks.

Step 4. Restorations.

After securing your account, blizzard will now be able to help you restore your characters by using one of your periodic saves to restore your characters.
Battle.net does not keep save points permanently. You have appoximently 48 hours to report compromised account after which restoration may not be possible.

What changes on my account during a rollback?

--> All Heroes in all regions will be rolled back to their state at the time the save point was created.
--> Auctions that you did not create will be cancelled and removed from the auction houses.

You are allowed 2 rollbacks for a compromised account.
After a rollback you must attach an authenticator to access the Real Money Auction House
If your account is compromised a second time the Real Money Auction House will be revoked.
