Been bored and got my hands on a copy of the PC version of FF7 from a friend. Decided to do the remix mod(updated character models, user interface, some textures, etc..), and added my own custom soundtrack to the game. Feel like it's gonna be what keeps me playing it to the end. Was a little drunk while making this first part lol, so kinda say a few inaudible things every now and then.

But check it out if you want! I'm planning on beating the game for this.

Yeah, it's really the whole reason I'm replaying it. Not so much for the game itself, but for the mods. Mainly just the soundtrack that I put in myself, I can't wait to hear what the music I put in will sound like later. I picked out as much remixed tracks of the originals as I could find.

But there are so many mods for FF7, I honestly wish there was as many for FF8 PC because I'd rather replay it, but there are hardly any. Compared to FF7, there are literally hundreds if not thousands.

But there are some crazy mods out there lol, I'm gonna try to add in some random new mod every now and then. I found a pretty funny Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Mars costume for Aerith and Tifa respectively, suiting them up for part 3 of my lets play lol. Also found some advent children mods I can use for the character models, I know for sure I"ll switch most of the characters over to those in the near future.

Part 3:

If nothing else, should check out that new menu and battle interface in part 3, it's pretty awesome. Breathing whole new life into the game for me.

Wow. The rework is amazing. Is this a mod of the pc version or is it the actual pc version of ff7?

The actual PC version is actually technically inferior to the PS1 version in terms of both sound and graphics. So yes, it's all mods, if it looks better it's because of mods lol.

The mod is called "FF7 Remix" which is a compilation of a few mods, I'm using that as my base. Though I've added in a bunch of other random stuff that I feel like, like the menu overhaul and things like that.

Yeah it's not bad. It's just a compilation of a few mods that were put together in one easy installer basically. Really only that first vid of mine is using only the Remix though, i'm just using it for my starter and adding whatever I feel like in after that. There's a lot of other awesome stuff out there.

Anyways here's part 4:

^ Gee thanks!

I have more to upload, but youtube has an invalid copyright claim against my account that i'm waiting to be settled. Could be like another month before I can start uploading my videos again.

There are better mods out there, but i'm picking and choosing which ones to use.
