This will be a game for the 2012 U.S OPEN.
Make sure you read all of the rules to avoid confusion.

There is a 50fg buy-in to play.
I will be accepting a maximum of 15 players to participate.
(Hopefully there is interest in this)
There is no refunds for this, if you decide to resign from the game, your fg will be used as entry for another user.

GAME RULES
This will be a game where everyone selects 3 golfers from the field.
The person with the lowest cumulative FINAL scores wins.
(Example. Phil -5, Tiger -1, Fowler +5. The Cumulative score will be -1)
Anyone who selects a golfer who does not make the cut, is served a penalty of +10 to their score. (It does not add to their players score)
The maximum score cap will be +10, for anyone who makes the cut and shoots +20 on the weekend, the player will be as though they shot +10.

I will be using the official PGA scores to tally the results.

You CANNOTselect the same golfer as another user - Meaning there will be a random draft order to select golfers.
The draft will be 3 rounds.
First round will be 1-15 (Assuming we have 15 participants)
The next 2 rounds will then reverse and go 15-1

*If the draft process moves quickly enough, a 4th round will be added. (1-15)*

INJURIES/WITHDRAWALS
If a player is picked by you, and cannot make the START of the tournament, you will be allowed to select a new golfer which hasn't yet been picked up until the FIRST tee off of the tournament.
Once the tournament has commenced all picks are final.

If your player is injured or withdraws DURING the tournament and does not finish, you will be given an automatic +10 penalty to your final score.

It is NOT my responsibility to make sure you select a golfer who is in the field.
If you select a golfer who is injured or not in the field, you will be served the same penalty as one who did not make the cut. (+10)


DEADLINES
The deadline to buy-in will be JUNE 6
The draft will begin on JUNE 7 after the buy-in process has been completed
PLEASE MAKE AN EFFORT TO BE ON FOR THE DRAFT PROCESS
If you are not on for the draft process you will be skipped.

The drafting process will be as follows:
I will randomly select the drafting order.
I will make a separate thread in this section.
When it is your turn to select a golfer I will send you a PM.
POST your pick in the new thread which is created.
Everyone's pick will be displayed in that thread, so you will know which golfers have already been picked.
I will give you enough time to select your pick, but if you are not active you will be skipped.
If you fail to select a golfer, a random one will be assigned to you at the end of the draft

PAYOUTS
The top 3 will be paid as follows:
1st: 70%
2nd: 20%
3rd: 10%

I will be donating 500fg to a separate pot to the person who picks the WINNER of the tournament.

WELCHERS/BLACKLIST cannot take part.
Any fg received from you will be a donation to the pot.
