Okay, so before, I was talking about confession and I now believe it to be okay since Jesus breathed on the apostles so they could have the power to forgive sin.

Also to me it doesn't make sense that he would give the apostles the power to forgive sins and it would end with them, it makes sense that the power to forgive sin
would be passed down, right?

Now I would like to ask if it is okay to pray to Mary?

Also, where in the bible does it talk about transubstantiation?

There are so many different beliefs.

Colossians 2 NLT

16 So don’t let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating certain holy days or new moon ceremonies or Sabbaths. 17 For these rules are only shadows of the reality yet to come. And Christ himself is that reality. 18 Don’t let anyone condemn you by insisting on pious self-denial or the worship of angels,[e] saying they have had visions about these things. Their sinful minds have made them proud, 19 and they are not connected to Christ, the head of the body. For he holds the whole body together with its joints and ligaments, and it grows as God nourishes it.

Okay so in heaven there is God and there is angels. Isn't Mary an angel? So it would be wrong to pray to her, right? Even if we are asking her to pray for us?

If you're interested in this sort of thing, you should study church history, starting around AD 1 (but pushing back further, to see what Christ came and changed, ideally).

Mary is not the Lord.

Mary cannot answer your prayers.

She was a person just like your or me.
And no Mary is not an angel.

And just to let you know, God did not give the angels a mortal life, The angels were not hand chosen like each of us.
In a way the angels are amazed by us.

We should only be praying to the Lord. Praying to anybody else is idolatry, that includes Mary.

The practice of saying the rosary goes contrary to Scripture in a number of ways. Only God can hear our prayers. Only God can answer our prayers. The Bible nowhere instructs Christians to pray through intermediaries, or to petition saints or Mary (in Heaven) for their prayers.

Here's a good article on the rosary:

This is the difference. While some people may not (and do not) understand the difference, when Catholics "pray to the saints", they are doing so as intercessors, that is, much the same that you'd post on Facebook, send an email, call a friend, and ask them to pray for you.

Praying to anyone else is a idol
except to God himself, in the name of Jesus.
Mary is a human.
So is Buddha, he is a human.
Before Jesus, we had to sacrifice and only the most holy were to speak with God.
After jesus, everyone has equal chance of speaking to God thru him and no more sacrifices, you can pray.
There are lots of things wrong with Catholic belief and other religion that I can point out but thats different sstory

You have got to be kidding right ?

Praying to Mary is idolatry ? What kind of messed up Christian faith do you live by ?

Mary is the mother of Jesus, and refered to as the Mother of God by the Church.

The Catholic church is the original Christian church, and martyrs and christians in the years after Christ, in the first centuries after Christ, while persecuted by the Romans were already praying to Mary. And I feel confident in saying that their interpretation of the word of God was more precise and more accurate than the one any of us have today, considering that some of them had been directly in contact with Jesus, or their parents/grand parents had.

Saying that you cannot pray to Mary is Blasphemy. Mary is as much the mother of the Lord as she is our own mother, and it is normal to pray to her and to ask for her guidance in times of need.

I can't believe some of the nutcase crazy things I am reading when it comes to how some doctrines in the USA pretend to be Christians. Islam has radicals that we call Islamists and who blow up buildings, the Catholic Church and the Holy Vatican has some of you guys ... methodists and members of the "church of jesus christ" etc etc ... Bloody terrorists just as much as Islamists if you ask me. Not surprised Mormons come from the USA ... Some of the stuff I hear and read coming from your country makes me want to pop my ears and tear my eyes out.
