i'm new at eve (my 14 days trial account expired yesterday ) and I just have question that i'm sure you guys can answer.

First: Eve online is great and I sure will extend my account! I've Never seen such a complicated market full of possibilities for loosing isk and making isk ^^.

Question: Since there are two markets with virtual money (isk and fg) how stable are the fg-for-isk-exchange-rates?

I'm noticing that e.g. at Diablo III the price for ingamegold is falling down very fast since the release. But Eve exists for a very long time, so how did or does the exchange-rate develop?

Sorry for my bad english ^^ But i really want to know that

eve market is kindda stable, because the jsp eve community isn`t that large and isk is a precious commodity because it can`t be farmed that easy by anyone and their dog + there is a huge isk sink in game, while D3 just started and everyone is farming like crazy gold and there is no money sink atm since everyone realized blacksmith is shit and gems can be bought from market for a fraction of jeweler fee to upgrade..

current market price is 1500-1700 fg for 1 billion, with some spikes up/down caused by boredom and the need for fg (in my case).

If you are interested in buying some, i still have 4.1 billion isk to sell for 1kfg per billion, that`s at least 33% discount, so be fast else it will be probably gone in few days maximum

The market here on jsp (fg) has really no impression on eve isk.

Isk is only influenced by eve, as opposed to FG being influenced by every game on this site.
Its pretty much if people want to play d3, then they will ditch eve isk extremely low. On the other hand if eve is the new flavor of the month the FG:isk ration will shoot up...

Iv been trading here regularly since FG:isk ratio was 3fg:1million isk.

Now it varies on the person who wants to get rid of isk quickly.

You can pretty much see the range at this current time of being anywhere from 1fg:1mil to 2fg:1mil.

The ratio really needs to go up to ATLEAST 2:1 again. Would be on par (or close to) with the value of what the online market websites use.

since ccp got plexes i value isk higher then ohter tradeables in ohter games.

That wont happen until the number of buyers outnumber the number of sellers. Right now theres no reason to sell isk at 2:1 because for every buyer you have three sellers.
