100 sneak + backstab with dagger while wearing shrouded gloves = 1 hit kill anything on master

if you are out of arrows, do that (imo it's damn boring)

Another note, Ive never used a horse, walking = pelts + finding dungeons and mines. Personal preference. Besides, it's Skyrim, what's the hurry for?

It's ridiculous how weak town guards are on Master.

I cleared out 3 cities, Whiterun, Solitude, and Markarth, and didn't ever get below 75% health.

My character isn't the greatest on Oblivion, but it is extremely challenging to clear out a city, like I get to the brink of death multiple times.

Yeah, there's a pretty big diffrence there, since the base multiplier compared to swords and bows (x3 and x6 with perks) is so high. (base on daggers with perk is x15)
Also, as you level, the random loot you find in quests goes up in quality, but generally, daggers are the first weapons you are going to find in a higher tier then what you are currently using.

Add to that the fact that when you finish the  Death Incarnate quest (dark brotherhood quest line) you can get the blade of woe off of astrid, It's affected by the Steel Smithing perk, meaning that it can be improved twice as much at a grindstone. (you will need the arcane smithing perk since it's a magic weapon though)
With a Smithing skill of 100 (you can use items/potions to artificially raise this, since you don't need any high smithing lvl perks to improve this weapon),you can get a base damage upwards of 60. Combined with the Assassin's Blade perk and Shrouded Hand Wraps/Shrouded Gloves/Jester's Gloves/or Ancient Shrouded Gloves, (all give the 2x sneak damage multiplier and are found during the dark brotherhood quest line) sneak attacks can reach 1,800+ damage.

The enchantment on it isn't really too special, only leeches 10 health from the target to yourself, but you'll be able to pick this up much quicker and won't have to put so much in smithing.
You get a high damage weapon available much quicker, and you will be doing the dark brotherhood quest line anyway if you want access to any of the gloves. (i only started finding ebony daggers around lvl 40, daedric around 45, if rushing the dark brotherhood quests from the start you can get the dagger before you even hit lvl 10, though you might be lacking a bit in the blacksmithing tree at that point.)

I like to get faendal as a follower in riverwood straight after helgen, then get him to train my archery up to lvl 50. (when you get him as a follower you can just trade items with him to get your gold back ;)
During the dark brotherhood quests you can pick up the Firiniel's End Bow as well (after the wedding assassination talk to gabriela, you'll find it on the ledge where the couple adresses the crowd iirc)
It has a really good base damage, isn't influenced by character level as well.
with it's high base damage (around the same as a glass bow) and an enchantment of 20 points of frost damage to Health and Stamina, it's a pretty great bow.
You will need elven smithing to be able to improve this weapon though (wich shouldn't be too much work to get to, seeing as you will need to get to arcane smithing anyway)

to raise blacksmithing, just pick up all the leather/pelts you can and when you have a good stack of them just use that to continuously make hide bracers, it's what i do anyway.

or you can just steal an elven bow from copmanions at the beggining ;) same base damage :)

Dual daggers = dual poison power attack = dead. There is no alternative that comes close. Your focus is to kill as fast as possible.

Ive got a level 52 assassin type, i play on Master.

This. There's no need for a Shield or axe. Should def go dual daggers. Your using light armor so you want to end the close combat engagement as fast as possible.

Daggers can get to 30x multiplier (as long as it's a sneak attack ofc). There's the 15x multiplier in the one handed perk tree then you slap on the Dark brotherhood gloves which makes it 30x.

i got lvl 40 assasin type but ima start over, using shield right now but ima go dual daggers though and ya light armors suckssss @ close combat! lol

yeah, i figure that out

ahh wow.. o.o that's a lot though o.o

oh, i never did dark broothoood yet, i usually head to thief guild lol. i dont know if it's good idea going straight to darkbrotherhood though but hmm i was thinking about going there around lvl 10 or so lol. yeah i know about arcane smithing part and stuff. i usually get my smithing around 100 wow just by sneaking, i gotta work on my sneak attacks lol.

well i thought, echantment helps damage on the weapons/armors and stuff that has echantment on it. i found bunch of ebony dagger gloves around lvl 40 also lol but i do want try go dark broothhood quest fast when i hit lvl 10 but problem is blacksmith lol :(

yeah, i like him too lol, not bad bow though. i usually make iron daggers instead of hide bracers but thats another way though. :P

Im currently playing a Conjuration Assassin, I Bound Daggers and summon atronarch when it gets hairy ( which it sure does ). And being Conjuration, I use Soul Trap with Azuras Star and whatever soul gems I come across and enchant what I smith, and I wear a Hood with Light armor which look SWEET. Im thinking of going vampiric too.

Vampirism sucks.. the feeding to maintain lvl w/o being attacked gets very tedious.. You fast travel across the map or 1/2 across it and you gotta feed soon as you get there otherwise risk of being attacked on sight.

I just feed on my sleeping wife easy as pie.

I like the extra challenge too.
